I'm just not going to jump to conclusions when it comes to parents and their kids. I want more proof. I want to see bruises. I want proof that she wasnt hitting the seat because it wasn't opening or closing right. Just because her arm is moving rapidly, and the child is inthe general vicinity, I'm not going to cast my judgment.

What seems odd is that she doesn't seem upset while walking the girl over to the car, but then she does look around as if she's making sure no one is around.
Tough to tell.

She is CLEARLY not beating the seat. The seat is just sitting there while she swings away. Her actions are directed at the child. It doesn't look like tickling.

I want proof that she wasnt hitting the seat because it wasn't opening or closing rightYou know that's what I initially thought too. From what I've seen I can't see her actually hitting the child. Maybe I haven't seen all of the video but what I could see was very inconclusive. I couldn't make out any actual hits to the child. It almost seemed like she was beating the car seat.
That being said. If she was beating the child, I hope someone finds her and opens a similar can of whoop-ass on this poor excuse for a mother.

This could very well have been horse play, and for all we know the mother wasn't making any contact with her "blows" and "shaking". She could have simply been making the little girl laugh. I don't know. Lets see the kid before we hang this woman.

That could easily be done if the so called mother would quit running from the police and produce her daughter. Why do you suppose she won't do that? The bruises haven't healed yet?

Texaggie, I'll agree with you about reserving some judgement about parents and their kids. I know all to well about how things really are and what they might look like, especially to the hyper sensitive. However, what does not sit well with me in this case is the fact that the family is hiding the child. If this child was unharmed and she was tackling a seat or killing a bee or the spanking was not as brutal as it appears to be, than why hasn't the child been produced without any harm to her. I think it's because the woman did in fact beat this child visciously and those punches left marks. As someone else said, they are hiding the child until the bruises heal.
If this was all a misunderstanding and the child is unharmed, I can't see how the mother would have had a problem producing the child, even through relatives.

You have GOT to be kidding. Have you seen the video? Did you see her striking the child while she was in the floorboard? Did you see her shaking her violently?
You can't possibly have seen the whole video and assert something so ridiculous.

The thing I noticed about the video is that the woman's arm is not moving very far back, she only has the force of a foot or so of motion and the child isn't likely to have serious injuries from that.

and i would like proof you have a heart, a brain and any compassion.
hoping you have no kids!
