This woman did not "lose it". She looked carefully around the parking lot before she started her attack. She stopped the beating two times...and then resumed. She was totally in control, methinks.

True enough... but she has "lost" something to behave that way. And my statement was referring back to the "witnessing abuse next-door" scenario that was being discussed, as an aside to this woman.
