I tend to agree with you. I didn't see any hits to the head; the child is not in view. I think its a dramatic overreaction; the child is in danger; suffering from skull fractures. Give me a break.

Oh, sure, because you couldn't see it, the woman must have been fluffing up a pillow for the little girl.
Get real - that wench was punching her little girl in the head out of frustration. A very clear case of child abuse.

How about we leave you in the care of that "mother" and she can give you several breaks.

The mom really isn't landing heavy blows. She's pulling her punches, as it were - smack, smack, smack, smack, smack.
THe child is not going to have any serious injury from it.
Just enough to relieve Mom's own angry feelings and tension. It's abuse, but the child is not going to have any serious injury from it.
That "smack as much as I can get away with" is deliberate on the mom's part - and its the most common type of abuse.
The real issue is, if she would do this in a parking lot, what would she do at home.

Like you I only saw the first few seconds prior to the child being put in to the car seat. Then the mother strikes her again 3 separate times. The entire time I would est. at about 20-30 seconds of beating. The last round looks to me like the mother has a hold of the child's hair and is shaking the child's head back and forth. The first part that was shown on FNC was bad enough..then they showed the entire video..I almost started to weep. The beating is about the head and shoulders..not cool with little kids. It is brutal to watch.

I didn't see any hits to the head; the child is not in view. What's wrong with you people (you and Texaggie79)? Yes, the little girl was beaten about the head. Why would you take up for this woman who calls herself a mother?
