Hundreds of non-citizen screeners who work at San Francisco International Airport may yet be able to keep their jobs, but efforts to make that happen face tough political opposition with time running out.
The U.S. Senate Commerce Committee on Thursday approved a bill that would roll back the new federal requirement that security screeners be U.S. citizens. At San Francisco Airport, nearly 500 of the 1,000 screeners are not U.S. citizens.

One must ask what the good Senator Feinstein has to gain by allowing non-citizens without a grasp of our language to guard our safety in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy. Moreover, if it can be proven that Ms. Feinstein's motives are merely to acquire Democrat votes by California's growing ethnic population, ignoring the safety of millions of Americans, wouldn't this be an act of treason?
Feinstein is such a punk.
