Certainly when it comes to core values, philosophy and so forth that reflect me, Carvile is way off base. But he does score when he connects on our shortcomings.
That's why liberals enjoy his being a jackass just as we (conservatives in general) enjoy Coulter doing her version of it.
Frankly, I think other that satisfying those who want someone out there lobbing one liners, Coulter does more to drive away those who are sitting on the fence or want to learn more. If you're already in the amen camp, then she's we've simply proven she's preaching to the choir.
I don't agree ---or she wouldn't be getting the kind of attention she is from the liberals. It's kind of like the criticism they made of Rush. There are plenty of Conservatives who aren't lobbing the one-liners but aren't getting noticed.
