A friend in SC was struck by the photo of the beating mother of Mishawaka who looked to her like one of the group known as Irish Travelers. After reading the article about the itinerant lifestyle of the family she feels this may indeed be the case. The Irish Travelers, featured on 60 Minutes in the not too distant past often use aliases and it is a local joke about the diversity of state license plates for those living in their Murphy Village Compound.
