(a)If a chemical is hazardous, what in heck is "conservative" about NOT regulating its use ?

(b) Since when is a reasonable stewardship of the environment "anti-conservative" ??

I live in a state which took a "hands-off" position on industrial wastes, pollution, and common sense protection of the environment for a long, long time...and, for a long, long time, we justly deserved the nickname : Garbage State.

They must refering to external opposition since the vote was 19-0
