Attorney client privilege is there to allow the perp to spill his guts to get the best defense and for the attorney to defend him whether he knows the perp is guility or not.
Attorney client privilege is there to allow the perp to spill his guts to get the best defense and for the attorney to defend him whether he knows the perp is guility or not. Perhaps, but then I'd expect some sort of temporary insanity plea that doesn't deny the client's role, just his responsibility for it.
Isn't the attorney supposed to ask off of the case if he knows his client is putting him into an unethical position, like admitting guilt and then expecting the attorney to put forth false possibilities?
