| Las Ketchup ... starting a new dance craze |
| |
 |
|
|
ITS a dance craze you cant have missed if you were on holiday in Europe this summer now its on its way here too.
The Ketchup Song by LAS KETCHUP is, dare I say it, the new Macarena. Sung in Spanglish, it could turn into the most irritating hit of the year which is saying something with the current charts. La Ketchup are three sort-of-gorgeous sisters (think a poor mans Corrs meets Fuengirola apartment cleaners) called PILAR, LOLA and LUCIA, from southern Spain. The saucy trio were named Ketchup because their dad is a hugely-famous flamenco guitarist called TOMATE (oh, the crazy world of Europop). The Ketchup Song has been No1 in Spain, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and Sweden. It will probably top the charts here too when it is released on September 30. And love it or loathe it, it will have you on the dancefloor in seconds just follow the pictures below to make sure you get it right. To hear the infectious Ketchup Song for yourself phone the number at the bottom of the page.

DANG! Hit "Post" instead of "Preview" So I didn't get the pictures of the group and the dance. I'll post in a reply.
In the meantime...
just letting FReepers know I'm making this post as a public service to keep us on the cutting edge of breaking world news...
as well as warning against another "Macarena" type invasion, and...
Getting to scope out a pretty cool loking girl group! Hehehehehe!

Here's the band....heard part of the song on Drudge....don't think its catchy enough to make it big in the US.

They're pretty cute. I'll bet they will be on TV hawking multi-coloured ketchup in multi-coloured mini dresses within a year.

Just another excuse to have scantily dressed women move in suggestive ways.
Cool.
