AND FOR A SECOND OPINION:I'm not sure the world needs to see Goldie Hawn play a cross between a sprite and an earth mother, and I'm quite sure we don't need to see Susan Sarandon armored, for our edification, in sexual repression.
It's this kind of smelly hack work that renders USA Today unsuitable for wrapping fish.

I will really be disappointed if through this colaboration, Kurt Russell becomes a bleeding heart liberal.

People who remember the zeitgeist of the '60s with fondness have never grown up. I myself can feel nostalgic about certain personal events and relationships, but it was a traumatic time for our society and for our culture. It's sad that so many people have been stuck in adolescence for so long. (We call those people Democrats.)

Dear Goldie and Susan,
It must be wonderful to be brainless.

I'm their age. Glad I grew up. This was a painful, nauseating read.

Q: Isn't it amazing how your two lives parallel each other's? Sarandon: We're the East and West Coast version of a very similar survival story. We have the same number of children. The same genders. We both are with guys who are ...
Hawn: Younger, and we didn't marry.
Aim high.
To: GeneD
Sarandon: Nothing is more empowering than the belief that, as an individual, you effect change. And that was a period where people took care of each other and eventually did stop a war, and there was outrage, and you were allowed to dissent without being considered un-American. Outside the confines of your local Socialist Workers cell, who talks like this?
Just shut up, Sue, and show us your Lark pack.

Gee, that's cute. Gimme a tissue. And some toilet paper over here, please -- 'cuz "interviews" like this aren't fit to wipe one's a&& with.

...Kurt Russell becomes a bleeding heart liberal. I remember seeing Russell in John Carpenter's "The Thing," tromping around Antarctica, trying to act like a hardass, wearing a ... Mariachi hat.
Mariachi hat + hardass = does not compute
