I am a master of the crock pot and the microwave.

Helpful recipes tips:

Marinate chicken breasts early in the morning, and throw them on the grill; accompanied with hot bread and a salad. Looks professional, and most people don't know how little time this actually takes.

Early in the morning, place a pork roast in the crock pot with appropriate spices. Add scalloped potatoes in the microwave and applesauce, and voila...Sunday dinner in little actual time.

If you're really pressed for time, walk into the bathroom closest to the front door, and pour some Pine Sol into the toilet. Then walk out of the bathroom and spray a little Windex into the air. Return to bathroom and flush the PineSol.

I did this once. First words out of his mouth were "Have you been cleaning?", to which I shrugged and replied, "ehh...a little..."
