These guys are saying Eunice claimed she overheard them speaking Arabic and this couldn't be. Linda argues that she could have heard another language and mistakenly thought it was Arabic.

Another possibility is that though the two guys are not fluent, they might easily understand some phrases "Allah akbar!", etc.

I never once heard Eunice state she heard them speaking in Arabic. She always said they spoke in English.

These guys are claiming she said this in order to embellish the portrait of Eunice as a bigot.
