Any FReeper suggestions on who the hosts of "The Early Show" should be? My nominations:
Newt Gingrich Ann Coulter

How about Marlo Thomas? No sense in there being just one loser, with a tanking show, in the Donahue household.
To: Paul Atreides
Thinking about losers, how about Janet Reno and Warren Chistopher.
He could keep Bryant Scumball's fashion collection alive, she could be....well?

I hear that Walter Commiecoot is eager to come back. I'm sure he would make cole slaw with Martha Stewart if it gave him a chance to bash our President, on television.

Ha! Janet and Warren are the perfect pairing: her shaking could keep him awake!

Not commenting on the Politics of these morning shows, but CBS will never have a successful morning program the way they switch hosts around.
Harry Smith and Paula Zahn were just starting to make some real rating improvements when they switched to Gumbel and Clayson. Gumbel leaving was a good move in my opinion, but now their regular viewers must adjust to 2 new personalities instead of just one. The move that they seemed about to make was to bring Harry Smith back with Clayson, which would have been a pretty good move in my opinion. Now, they assured themselves another 10 years stuck in the number 3 spot with no hope of advancing unless both Katie and Matt leave at the same time, or Gibson leaves ABC altogether.

Let's kick it up a notch, how about dan rather in the morning and at night? We can test the spontaneous human combustion theory and rid ourselves of him sooner rather than later. For a co-host, let's surprise him weekly. Start with Connie Chung. ..I'd watch it..!

Hanoi Jane and Ramsey Clark

Ted Turner. He's just itching for something to occupy his time.

Jane WHO? CB-WHAT?
I was just commenting to Mrs. Fierro that if it weren't for Sunday football, we wouldn't watch CBS at all.

CBS has an early show?

Rosie O'Donnell is the obvious choice.
They can use her to fill Jane's chair, then once the operations are complete, she (he) can move over into the male-of-the-month's chair, and they can hire some hot babe to work with her (him).

Who is Bryant Gumbel and Jane Clayson? Since when does CBS have a Early Morning Show that anyone would want to talk about?
