ABC News had a piece on their 18:30 [6:30pm] broadcast on the Florida Primary Election presented by their reporter, Mark Halprin[sp?]. In it they led with Al Gore blaming the GOP, Gov. JEB Bush blaming the Florida Counties and late night comedians blaming Florida. In the course of the piece, NOTHING was mentioned about the high sucess rate in the rest of Florida or that one of the problem counties, Broward had EXTENSIVE warning aboutr problems or that both counties had the local voting control in charge of the DEMOCRATS! Now the media game BEGINS!

I don't think you need to bother, we believe you, and rejoice in the ignorance of Americas enemies.

Did you also notice that they interviewed Daschle and (surprise!) the solution to the problem is more federal money, and quick!

...that both counties had the local voting control in charge of the DEMOCRATS! Now the media game BEGINS! Does FL have both parties voting in the same location? In Texas, the parties are in control of their own primaries, i.e., Dems run theirs and Repubs run theirs. They can be in different locations within a precinct.
How does FL do it? How can Republicans be blamed for the problems of the Dems?
All I know for sure, I think it's funny that the people who can't run a primary election, want to run the entire state.

Anyone with half a grain of common sense can now see that the voting problem in Broward and Miami-Dade is not the voting equipment, it is the people (poll workers/voters/local election supervisors). They need to import some Republicans to help them get it done right!

All elections, primary or otherwise, are run by the county Supervisor of Elections. You must be register in the party to vote in their primary, but usually there are other, non-partisan races on the ballot as well. Democrats and Republicans would vote in the same polling place, there is one per precinct.
At least that's how it is here in Hillsborough.

Hmmm, 97 counties get it right, but Dade, Broward, and Duval screw it up.
Sounds familiarly democrat to me.

Is it safe to assume the election judges in the troubled counties are Dems?
