Any precinct committeeman around would have a list of all registered voters in his or her precinct- with their addresses and party affiliation and phone numbers, if they were listed. I kept mine in my desk and it was usually up to date.

My estimation of Fox -- which I watch all the time -- has gone down about 100 pegs. TO FOX AND OTHERS: I am not a Democrat but I know that you do not have to be a Republican to love the US and violent people belong to both political major parties, and are independents, too.

Sidebar: Steve Marmel, a comedian, occassionally does some "current events" commentary
on a local radio station here in Los Angeles.
After viewing the early episodes of the Anna Nicole show, he said he was pretty
sure that Anna Nicole is constantly under the influence of some sort of drug, llcit or illicit.
He also noted that Anna Nicole's purported son appears on the show...he then gave
out the number for California Child Protective Services and asked listeners to call
the agency and report that a child was being raised in a dysfunctional household by
one Anna Nicole Smith...and that the child needed protection.
