George S. interviewing Dash-hole now! (10:52 EST)
Hillary, how come your husband didn't have the cojones to deal with Iraq and President Bush does?
Bob Graham is in it up to his ears after todays performance.
I suspect the internal dim polling is telling them that unless they change the issue from President Bush killing terrorists to President Bush killing old people and poor children, they are in a world of hurt.
Timmy would say I was interviewing the Senator from New York, not a former President. (Liberal mind set.)
If Hillary's really setting herself up for a presidential run....I think the freedom and democracy are in deep doo-doo.
The more the Democrats stall the more they hurt themselves in November. The single issue on the "Kitchen table" (thank you DNC)is the war. The Republican Party is invulnerable on the war issue.
The interesting thing that seems to be occurring today is the Democrats are marching to the talking points of the McAuliffe run DNC with the exception of Hillary and Edwards. Looks like Bill and Terry are sandbagging all of the potential Democratic party presidential candidates except the Hillary and Clinton clone Edwards.
Hillary's answer: Oh, Tim. No one has done more to fight terrorism than what President Bill Clinton did. GAG!!!
I have a meatgrinder attachment for my Kitchen Aid. Brit sounds like the groan of the gears and motor, and Graham was sounding just like the squishing of the meat. Results were the same, except that instead of hamburger, Graham was toast.
Iran is more of a threat. It is a bigger promoter of militant Islam, it has the largest military force in the mid-East except for Israel, and possibly Egypt. It is building up that force extremely quickly. It is subject to internal turmoil which drives countries to wage war. It has weapons of mass destruction, including a well established nuclear program.
Having said that, Iraq should be attacked first. It is the logical first dominoe to fall, and makes for the best staging area for further operations into Iran, or Saudi Arabia. (and don't think for a second those options are not being reserved by the administration)
Quote of the Week.
Timmy's follow up: "How 'bout dem Jets?"
Unfreakingbelievable!
Graham did worse than that. He tried to divert attention to Iran/Hezbollah as a more immediate threat than Iraq. What a weenie. So Brit asked him if he would then support military action in Iran...then Graham ran for the door. What cowardice.
This weekend I predict will bring the internal democratic insta-polling numbers that will force that party to get on the Bush bandwagon. Sweet!
And, "just let me say" or, "I'd like to say," etc.
Everytime I hear that I want to reach through the TV and slap the fire outta them!
Oh, I disagree, the government of Iran is losing power with its citizens. Their chief cleric resigned out of protest to Iran's human rights record.
