"This will be the new line - "accuse them of what WE are doing"...nothing new here"
You are right - this is nothing new. "Projection" is a technique the dems have always used. It's so easy to figure out what they're up to because they always accuse the repubs of doing it.
They accused Bush (with 2 degrees) of being dumb; while it was Gore who never completed law school or divinity school.
They accused Bush of using cocaine; while it was Gore who was the marijuana user - and as far as I know, still is.
This technique has always worked for them before - BUT NOT ANYMORE. I don't believe the dems have read the public correctly this time. Their stuff just isn't working.
If they are "projecting" that Bush is politicizing the war -then the truth is THE DEMS ARE THE ONES WHO ARE DOING THE POLITICIZING - NOT THE REPUBS.
Like the President said, the American people deserve to know who their elected officials are going to support - the U.S. or the UN.

"political dithering" will serve their own peril"
Yes, I too believe those dems who delay and dither the most will be removed from office the quickest.

Nothing nice about Juan Williams, he was accused of sexual harrassment on the job. If I remember correctly, not denied either.

Warner was definitely on the team, nice surprise!!

I hope President Bush goes before Congress during Primetime and lays out his case about WHY a vote before going home is important. I also want him to slamdumk the RATS and all their arguements - just like he did at the U.N. - There is no reason whatsoever to wait to vote until after the election. Bush should paint them as the cowards they are. Listening to hillary, Levin and Graham this morning got my blood boiling all over again.

I think it was on FOX SUNDAY were they speculated that the President would do just that either next week or the week after. It is interesting to note that Blair is going to release the dossier he has on evidence against Iraq on Sept 24 & 25th.

Her response was ... her usual unintelligent and confusing reply. Quite frankly, I don't know what the hell she said.LOL, you're a funny ant.

There's hardly any hope at all of Cleland losing. Cleland probably has a 66% chance of winning.

Iraq will happen If you mean the resolution from the UN and from Congress, then yes. The strike will not happen before the midterms.

"blood boiling"
Me too! And ... after precinct walking yesterday, I can tell you the repubs in San Diego county are mad as hell.

Will be nice to see the President address both houses of congress.........especially since the lying dem rats are saying he didn't ask for a vote.

Carl Levin, maroon? I don't know about that. Personally, I think he's a moron.
You need to get up to speed on FR lingo. "Maroon" is FR for "moron"; from the oft-quoted Bugs Bunny slam: "What a maroon," circa 1947.

And, "just let me say" or, "I'd like to say," etc. Everytime I hear that I want to reach through the TV and slap the fire outta them!
The one I hate is "but the REAL issue is..."

Brit Hume pummeling Sen. Bob Graham on his reluctance to support Pres. Bush on Saddam. If that had been a boxing match, the ref would have had to stop the match.
That was beautiful to watch.
Hume's pummeling of Graham will be replayed on Fox News Channel atarting at about 6:15 PM Eastern time.

I think the chances are very good for an address to Congress. They'll prepare the congressional resolution and then present it the day after the speech.
