There is a lot of pent-up anger and a hunger to DO something about the terrorists. If you ask me most people will want to see the vote quickly, because they want to get on with things.
People want to see action, not talk. That has been evident since mid-summer, as demonstrated here on this very forum. When my democrat sister is backing the President and ready to drop bombs, I KNOW that the general public is behind the President.
And people are not patient with the UN any more. Plenty of New Yorkers are fed up with them, let alone the peopple out in the Red Zone.
I bet we get a vote before the end of September, particularly if the British Parliament backs Blair. Ha!
To: rintense
I guess this is pretty childish, but I couldn't help it.

I sent Graham an email asking him to stop with the talking points from Terry and embarrassing Florida. I asked him how as chairman of the intelligence Committee, how he could make the comments he did and squirm so much that ,Brit had to ask him if he intended to email Iran.

Did anyone hear earlier today on Fox News Derry Alexander reporting on the terror cell in New York? She said, "They're all registered democrats."

You expected something different?? I watched it - waiting for NASCAR to come on - it was just the usual love fest. Sickening. She denied she was going to run for President (lie #1), she agreed the President is doing the right thing(lie #2), all the while she is using Daschle to try to cause all the distraction and disruption she can.
This woman believes she has gotten away with her lying schemes - she actually believes people will be happy to have her in the White House again. How much more in denial can you be??
To: alnick
Yes, I did hear that! Both my wife and I had a huge laugh at that! We said Dan Blather (or Petah or Tom Brokejaw) would NEVER say that but you got to be sure they'd let us know if they were Republicans! Anyway, priceless, huh? Go Fox!!!! Go Dari!!!!! And she's a Babe, too!

The new scheme for the RATS became clear today - especially from Carl Levin on CNN with Wolf Blitzer. The RATS think they should give the President a resolution saying they back him on getting the U.N. to get inspectors back in. Senator Warner said they should give the President a resolution of full backing on whatever he needs to do to protect America. Levin says we are "far from needing to do that". Because they do not want to vote on this before the election, they are accusing the President and the Republicans of playing politics with the war. They went back and plucked out some dumb comment that Andy Card made. All morning, little RATS have been popping up all over TV to suggest that the President is playing politics. This will be the new line - "accuse them of what WE are doing"...nothing new here.
Then we have the President who is listening to all of this - which is what he always does...he sees what they say and then he proceeds to slice and dice thier arguements. I look forward to the coming weeks. He will win. Oh, and the other new arguement that we should go after Iran...I think that's a non-starter.
To: The Wizard
Carl Levin, maroon? I don't know about that. Personally, I think he's a moron.
To: bray
"She made sure to say that the vote should not be made until after the election to make sure the war would not be politicized"
But ... she supports the President! Yeah ... right! She supports him only as far as it gets her favorable press.
To: mware
"Oh, I disagree, the government of Iran is losing power with its citizens. Their chief cleric resigned out of protest to Iran's human rights record. "That is a major reason why they are more of a threat. The regime requires an external enemy to stay afloat and provide opportunity and cover to purge their domestic enemies by the thousands. happens all the time...
To: VRWC For Truth; SkyPilot
"Maybe true but I think it's something bigger than the Nov elections"
Like what ...??
To: chnsmok
HAHAHAHAHA! Too funny.
To: rintense
OMG, she looks like sh!t! She's merely projecting her inner self.
To: Alas Babylon!
they're just politicians fueling the fears of the stupid to keep their power... is what I think it's all about. Ya think?
To: Timesink
What if this cretin actually is elected president? Ain't gonna happen. EVER. Too many people are on to her, and that's never gonna change From your lips to God's ears.
