I wonder if Byrd is sending mixed signals regarding his heir apparent, because I thought he had told Rep. Alan Mollohan from the 1st district he was the guy. Wouldn't it be funny if he had told both Rahall and Mollohan he was passing the scepter to them, and the two of them end up duking it out?
