I ain't heard anybody say, "I swanee", since my dear mother passed away.
There are sooo many good old Southern expressions that are going to be gone in another generation.

There are those in the South with 'economy in speech' who shorten that to "Well - I swan!"

And then we had the likes of Lewis Grizzard..:)))
