Cops don't back off of a case like that without a very compelling reason.

The "compelling reason" is usually the threat of litigation against law enforcement -- something Muslim groups are highly skilled at. Actually, they revel in it. Note how shy and retiring the family was today -- just a bunch of fun-loving, All-American, fully assimilated patriots -- arrogantly screaming about race and prejudice, and how their brother/son/cousin/whatever's life was "ruined" by discrimination.

This is a scenario that's been playing out in every city in America since 9/11, no matter what the charge or relationship to terrorism -- including at H.Rap Brown's trial -- remember how the cold-blooded cop killer was the unjustly accused victim of prejudice because he's a Muslim? Right.

I'm glad you weren't on that jury.
