I don't think Eunice is lying at all. I think she is telling the truth as to what she believes. I also think it is probable that she is mistaken, at least in part. It happens all of the time. Look at some of the confusion right here on this thread where everything is recorded in writing. It is possible to overhear a conservation and get th wrong gist of it. That's all I'm saying. And the only reason I have my doubts is the way the police acted after the facts came out.
What if her son says that heheard the same thing ? What if there are other witnesses. How much " proof " do you demand , before you will believe ? This isn't like some fast moving rumor, she heard it. Replying to a thread ( you can hit the wrong nic, to reply to, you can forget whi said what, after reading 100s of posts, etc. ) isn't the same thing as HEARING someone /s say something loud enough for you to hear.
