"What if it had happened to you or your husband or your child? I know that appearances can be deceiving. For example, I have a German last name, and most people assume that I'm Jewish. Then the cops will leak the story about having blood in my car, until the DNA tests reveal that it is my own blood from a minor cut"

I truly feel sorry if you've been hurt by thoughtless people. But - please don't follow their example by doing the same thing to police officers.

Most of them are like us. They are good American family people just trying to do a job under very difficult circumstances.

At least give them the benefit of a doubt. They have kids and families that could be killed by terrorists too.

If you are ever in trouble - I hope you will meet one of the finest that serve us so well.

I'm very saddened by today's episode.

Most police officers do not leak unconfirmed information to the media in such a reckless manner.

I would like to know who was the "Law Enforcement Sources" who tarnished the trust we placed on our uniformed officers.
