I have to thank Utah Girl for that thread about the Exhibition Skating the following Saturday...it ran to more than 600 replies.
I knew about the "Nipple Erection/Popping" phenomenon in in Women's Athletics since the early 90's, but I haven't followed sports for years.
Thanks to Utah Girl's post, I tracked down the same effect in Figure Skating.
Look, I'm not trying to be gross...but if you had a reliable method to determine if an athlete, male or female, was in focus, or distracted, it would certainly help explain results better than the fluff that passes for sportscasting these days.
