Mink went to Congress on the same day LBJ was elected on his own. People in HA think she is some kind of oriental who is "loving," "caring," and can do no wrong. I would think she is as socialist as those three Vermonters, Leahy, Sanders, and "Farmer Jim." She was out of Congress for a few terms after running unsuccessfully for senatorand then made a comeback to the House about ten years ago, as I recall. This kind of pneumonia can be deadly, but perhaps she will son regain her strength and return to the House floor to work for her socialist causes.

She's a socialist, all right. But if she retires (willingly or not), I'm sure her district would find another one just like her to replace her.

You would wish more Socialism and Union dominance and utter corruption on the citizens of Hawaii who are attempting to rid themselves of the yoke of the likes of Mink?
