Wreaking havoc....how our opponents are dredging up excuses...global ressession...the possible oil SPIKE...Cheney is saying that uncertainy will happen but only for a few days.
The notion that the world econmy be damaged is bunk.
To: theophilusscribe
Rush: opponents dredging up consequence of attack ie. global recessions, but in 91 oil went down.
Cheyney: Uncertainty inevitable, but only was a few days in 91, and depends on how long it is. To say world economy would be harmed is unfounded.

Saddams forces are still suffering since 1991...but his chemical arsenal is GREATER than 10 years ago...
To: antivenom
Cheyney - his forces are smaller, but the weapons he has are greater than they were in 1991

Rush: Why does Saddam stay silent and not object more and say this all isn't true.
Cheyney - because he's a liar.

Rush - Is Saddam trying to forestall this.
Cheyney - He's hoping the world won't do anything, but he underestimates the US, like he always does.

Discussing Saddams lies and how his defectors are telling us the truth.
Saddam is possibly believes that the world will not allow an atack against him.
Rate the chances of Homeland security passing...Cheney says if GW doesn't get what he wants he will VETO...until he gets what he wants.
To: antivenom
Rush: Chances of Bush's getting his version of homeland security.
Cheyney: If he doesn't get it, he'll VETO it.

AHHH yet another typist! LOL!!!
To: Fred Mertz
Cheney downplaying other country's objections by saying they weren't hit like we were, and there's not a whole lot any of them can do to assist our efforts anyway...Germany objections will go away after the election next week...Britain has been all we could ask from an ally...Iraq 40-45% weaker than they were in '91, but his Chemical and Biological weaponry much greater than '91...Homeland Security will be passed before Congress leaves for the Fall, and it will give Dubyuh the flexibility he is demanding or he will veto it and force Congress to stay until they get it right...POTUS will also pressure Congress to give him the Vote of Confidence for Iraqi Regime change before the elections as well...MUD

Ah, but remember, the President has the authority to initiate military action without the Senates approval... and I think he will do it.I hope the Senate sits on their hands, Bush sends in the troops, Bush releases the "other evidence that the Senate and House Intel committees have and then Daschle looks like the idiot he is for trying to hold everything up because of the election.
My advice to any Senate and House candidate running against and incumbent DemonRat; hit this issue hard and often. The public will be behind the Pres. and the military and it will make your opponent look like he doesn't care if an enemy gets a nuke before our fellas get in to Iraq.

I want the vote in the Senate before the election. Voting either aye or nay will hurt Tim Johnson, Tom Harkin, Paul Wellstone, and Jean Carnahan, among others.
