I'd be careful about making this the litmus test for patriotism. I will guess that you can find a lot of conservative businessmen who have made millions with their business ties to communist China...look at the tags in every department store in this country.
Several years ago our family tried not to buy stuff made in China and found it impossible. On top of that, I heard a news story that revealed that some items (shoes in particular) that were tagged as having been made in some other country (Indonesia and the Philipines in particular, I believe) were actually Chinese products. As much as we may hate it, when it comes to business, we are closely connected to communist China.

Someone should slap her mother.

What a gutless wonder! If she finds representing the US so embarrassing...she should resign from office. She should be ashamed...but of course you can't shame a democrat.

"has a U.S. flag pin, she says, but I was embarrassed to wear it.' Maybe if the flag was bigger, on the front of a Sherman tank and she was in a camp, she would "feel" different.
Na, it'd have to be a red star on a T-34 for her to be happy.

Ahhhmen! Here's an e-mail address for her:senator@feinstein.senate.gov
At least we annoy her staff with our one-liners (they read the subject lines, not the full message, so to write more is a waste of our time).
With good wishes,
Penny

And I would be careful of equating businessmen with conservatives. That's a fallacy that is usually made by radical Leftists and other ignorant people.

...and we are embarrassed to have you as a U.S. Senator.

Once I was in Europe for a conference and an arrogant ass started to lecture me on the deficiencies of the US. I listened politely and then thanked him for his critique of my Country and told him I felt certain he would not object if I critiqued his in kind. We left the lounge 10 minutes later. He had his knickers in a knot! The Senator should have put on a second pin, not be ashamed of the one she was wearing. I am sick of apologists who sit and let every fool criticize us and we respond with silence.

I *still* try not to buy products made in China. I ocassionally do, but in most cases I read the label & put them back.

Ms. Feinstein shows the heavy foot prints of the socialists in her life. It embarrasses me that this woman represents a part of my government. If she cannot serve with pride for her country, then she should be removed and make way for an American that believes in America.
The Johannesburg summit was a great deal about bashing this country, never thanking the hard working Americans that give and give aid around the world. Beggars always want more. Apparently Ms. Feinstein, who has many business interests abroad as well as in America, feels she is more of a citizen of the world than she is American. Such a remark by any elected official is totally unacceptable. Apologies from her cowardly and traitorous remarks are not acceptable.
