Socialist Annan, his U.N. comrades, and marxist Mandela can stand by and watch Iraq burn. These men are not our friends and who cares what they think? Mandela should also keep his mouth shut -- remember how South Africa's economy went into the toilet after Mandela took over? This guy is a legend in his own mind (and maybe in Clinton's mind).

Beautiful, the guy who has fumbled the ball for a decade wants to take the "Multilateral Approach". Who gets the first lateral, Osama bin Daschle? Talk about fumblers.

I don't care if we are alone. We don't need the Euros or the Russians or the Chinese or the stinking U.N. All we need is Kuwait so that we have an attack point. That's it. The rest of the world can wring their cowardly america-hating hands for all I care.

Interestingly enough, France joins with Russia and China against us... big shock there...NOT.

And Kofi Annan can just play Hide and Go *F* himself...

He sure did. I believe it's referred to in literary circles as "chapter and verse."

I'm thinking if the U.N. doesn't want to enforce their own resolutions, nobody should EVER pay them any mind.

Kofi Annan now has a brief opportunity to do what he says is necessary. Either the UN moves against Iraq, or we and our few useful allies will do so. That's what President Bush just said, in front of God and everybody at the UN.

In the next three weeks, Annan will either prove that he is a muddle-headed, over-paid mouthpiece for a useless organization, or not. I'm betting on "or not," based on his track record to date.

In three weeks our CenCom will be in Qatar. (That is why Hussein just threatened to "destroy" Qatar. But to get to Qatar, Huussein has to go through both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Is the House of Saud getting nervous? But I digress.) Our tanks and heavy armor are already on their way by ship. If we bring them off the boats with their motors running, they can turn north immediately. Almost certainly, they will offload in Kuwait.

The political attack on Li'l Tommy Daschle will take place in three weeks. Daschle will be unable to postpone the vote "until after the election." Then the attack on Huussein can begin in earnest -- though the 100-plane air raid on 6 September constituted the opening shots in this war.

The New York Times as usual, missed the start of the war. But FreeRepublic had the story.

Russia, wants to get paid (upwards of $10B) by Iraq, not give the US another source of oil, a market for their
antiquated, surplus armaments, and not to have demonstrated the inferiority of said armaments until they unload them all. IMO.

Annan just signaled Saddam that he can finish his bomb,
by dragging his feet.

All this touchy/feely makes my skin crawl.

Multilateral, multilateral, multilateral, Blah, Blah, Blah.

All nations are as one, all nations are equal, Blah, blah, blah.

And so we vote to send a strong resolution to Iraq, Blah, blah, Blah.

How does Iraq vote?
Iraq votes No!

There you have it, the no's carry it.

Now we can all go back to milking that American Cow, Blah, blah, blah.

1994: Hutus massacre 800,000 Tutsis.

The U.N. Security Council responded to the worsening crisis by voting unanimously to abandon Rwanda.

Clinton embraced multilateralism.

Bush says,

YOU ARE EITHER FOR US OR AGAINST US

You pretty much nailed it. The U.N.'s BIG MISTAKE could be that they won't understand that when a date is set, if it's October 4th, Bush doesn't MEAN October 5th.

I think the people of this country should be raising Holy Hell with Annan & the U.N., which has shown nothing but contempt and disrespect for this country. American blood was spent during the Gulf War. The U.N. should be ashamed of themselves that they have failed to force Iraqi compliance to the resolutions they themselves put in place. Their failure to do so is a slap in the face of every American, not to mention the families of the men & women who died freeing Kuwait.

Hey Joe, you're finding them today...

Kofi Annon, "multilateralist"?? So why don't we air drop Annon onto the tip of Mount Everest in nothing but his powder-blue UN-issued briefs?? "Go anywhere you want then Kofi, in any direction you'd like..."
