routine inspection at the Port of Newark

So it did make it to port!? Could anything have been offloaded in Newark?

This is what is worrying me, it made it into port before radioactivity was discovered in the cargo hold.

Very little chance of that. Special interest vessels are normally boarded immediately after they tie up.
