If this ship was 'the big one', then that would explain why yesterday was quiet. Perhaps the sleepers deliberately kept a low profile and avoided talking, to avoid tipping off what was coming? But I'm getting WAY ahead of myself -- we don't even know anything yet.

This type of "event" leads me to believe that there might have been a few plans for attacks yesterday that were squelched or undermined by our intelligence forces. We just won't here any details about them for a few months or even years.
