I think respect has to be earned (unless you're still in uniform, in which case you do what you're sworn to do)

The problem with Ritter is he's dissed two sitting presidents with contradictory statements. Of course the elephant in the corner is Israel. Saddam is openly financing terror against Israel. Since he is not a devout Muslim, this is his ticket to popularity in the middle east.
