One the of the things that bothers me regarding our aid to countries in need at time of tradegy such as flood, earthquake, volcano, etc... is that the food and material aid that is sent, though paid for by us, is often delivered in a container or sack that says its from the UN.
One of the things we did right in Afghanistan was the food aid sent there said in big letters on the containers "USA".
"You cannot exercise your powers to the point of humiliation for the others."
"And I do think that the Western world is getting too rich in relation to the poor world and necessarily will be looked upon as being arrogant and self-satisfied, greedy and with no limits."
