I think he will set a dateI think he has a date in mind but not ready to go "public" with it yet. I think it will be sooner then later but I also think that Saddam is going to break down and and somehow stall this process. Let us hope that GW sticks to his word to remove the regime with or without inspections.

The President didn't ask for inspections, Crystal said, he asked for a regime change. Very hawkish speech. Mort: Broadscale actions sought - return of all prisoners, human rights, WMD inspections.

I was watching it on Real Video C-SPAN3. It faded out there near the end, but it was a great speech! He said, in effect, if you don't enforce these resolutions, everyone will know that there are no consequences to flouting UN resolutions, and therefore you are irrelevant.
To: Humidston
No he said we'll work with the Security Council, and she winced, LOL.

The UN was told not to applaud after the speech. The newly elected President said that right after Koffi finished.

No not yet .. MSNBC is saying that Bush is willing work with the UN to give a last chance otherwise the US will do it for them

I agree. That's it...it's over.
Texans believe the shortest distance between A and B is a straight line.
Glad we have one as President.

Bill Kristol points out President Bush did NOT ask for weapons inspections, that he is demanding a regime change. Bill Kristol calls it amazingly hawkish.
Iraq announced before the speech that they would submit to weapons inspections. lah dee dah....too little too late, Iraq.

"What did MTV do for a 9/11 show (dare I ask?)"
didn't catch a whole lot but they had some college kids reading the koran
they talked about intolerance (on our part)
they talked about (in that liberal way) how we brought it upon ourselves
It was disgusting, I almost put my foot through the TV
