Iraq: a grave danger. to hope otherwise is to go against the evidence. It is a gamble to think he will change.
Here comes the build-up to war.
To: Howlin
Gee the Iraq folks don't look happy

You need to apply at the White House! I'm too curmudgeonly and opinionated to work in politics. ;)

The delegates look stunned! They were expecting some Clintonesque horse-hockey. They had no clue that GW would come in, take a ballbat and start bashing everything in the place...
It's good to be the king the American!

A good finish up to the speech would be: "Given all the facts that I have described, the UN can either prove that is a guardian of world peace, or that its utility towards the progress of mankind has crumbled into the dust. It can stand foursquare for freedom, or fade into insignificance. It can be bold and resolute, or shamefully perish, a victim of its own cowardice. The choice is yours." Excellent finish. The UN is so irrelevant and he's just now saying "or will the UN be IRRELEVANT". Yeah!!

Will the UN stand up to its founding principles, or will it be irrelevant?
To: MadIvan
Are you sure that you made it up (yes, I saw that as well)? It sure sounds like that's being spoken in Diplomatese.
"difficult and defining moment for UN"
To: vannrox
Powerful stuff. So true.
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
Reminding them that the US helped found the UN...and "we want the UN to be respectful." Zing!
To: Texas_Jarhead
Wow, he's slamming the UN. GO W!!

nucular weapons are very series.I'm glad you said this. I had a post all set to go about NOOKULAR, but stopped, thinking I'd get flamed. At least I'll have company if I get flamed. I wonder if the translators are mispronouncing the word "nuclear" in their translations, lol.
In any case, he's doing great! I love this guy!
