If it weren't for the Gulf War, Saddam would have had a nuclear weapon no later than 1993! Misspelled.
That's nucular weapon.
To: Cosmo
(Paraphrasing)
"Iraq could build a nuclear weapon within one year of obtaining fissile materiel"
"Iraq has scud missiles with greater than 150 km limit imposed by U.N."
To: PhiKapMom

A good finish up to the speech would be:
"Given all the facts that I have described, the UN can either prove that is a guardian of world peace, or that its utility towards the progress of mankind has crumbled into the dust. It can stand foursquare for freedom, or fade into insignificance. It can be bold and resolute, or shamefully perish, a victim of its own cowardice. The choice is yours."

I think this speech is for us, the people of the US. He's doing what the Dems asked, he's making his case against Iraq, point by point.
What will those poor dems say now????

"He blames the suffering of the Iraqi people on the UN....." uses $$$ for own self, while his people suffer.
