The loaded planes like missiles exploded, Balls of flame burst and steel crumpled, Tall twin towers violently imploded, Yet police and firement ceaselessly worked, Oblivious to fate that menacingly loomed, Bravo the police fire men and women - Pranaam!
Bravely huddled holding hands together, As tons of concrete came crashing asunder, Like Atlas holding the world on his shoulders, Mountains of debris falling from tottering towers, Behold courage like the Phoenix risen from the ashes, Pranaam
Youthful victims of many a nationality, Dreamers of happier life 'n prosperity, Far from homes in toiling sincerity, From all religions, beliefs and identity, Innocents sacrificed to a vicious bestiality, In silence we remember, Pranaam!
These crimes against decency and liberty, By fanatical perpetrators, preachers of enmity, With masks of sanity and holier sanctitity, Hatred in their hearts for all humanity, Religious sermonisers of an evil mentality, Let Justice Prevail - Pranaam
