In Australia, the names Beeb Birtles, Glenn Shorrock and Graeham Goble are as well known as Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Timothy Schmit and Joe Walsh are in America.

Just as Henley, Frey, Schmit and Walsh are collectively known as The Eagles, Birtles, Shorrock and Goble have been known to many since the early '70s as The Little River Band.

According to an article in Billboard magazine, Housden's Little River Band made about $1.4 million in 2001 from touring alone.

It ain't hay, but to support a band all the things that go with a tour, it ain't much either...
