Who The Hell Cares About Hillary's Hair?

Senator Hillary Clinton shows up with a new hairdo on Thursday, and now Washington is abuzz with what it "means." Who the hell cares? It doesn't mean anything. The woman likes to change her hairstyle a lot, and that's her business. I don't give a rat's rear end what her hairstyle is or what some clown hairdresser thinks it means. Oh, but that didn't stop Friday's Washington Times from writing a whole story on it. Here are some quotes:

"Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has changed her coiffure, and her new 'do was introduced at a Washington labor rally yesterday. The blond locks are now drawn back from her face, revealing the serene brow and knowing smile of a goddess in pearls, with Palm Pilot."

"Doubtless, the change in hair demeanor will bring on the rustling of journalists, friends, foes, fans, handlers, TV producers, talk-show hosts, magazine editors, shampoo makers and nervous Democrats who wonder what it all means."

"Staffers are calling her hair a 'coin' style, according to online chronicler Matt Drudge - as if Mrs. Clinton were going to appear on a quarter any moment."

"This is not the first change in Mrs. Clinton's appearance - an event that draws as much media hubbub as Al Gore's earth tones. Hair and clothes appear to serve as a convenient, evocative gauge of life in the Clinton fast lane."

"Martha Garza, author of Bethesda swank salon Pria, said famous women who change their hairstyle have a message to share. Pulling the hair off the face means that a woman is ready to be open, that she's comfortable with herself. A style with hair over the face means she has something to hide."

Well, if that's true, then this hairstyle means nothing, because if there was ever a woman with anything to hide, it's Hillary.

If liberal women could not vote we would not have this problem and Hillary would not be in that picture.

I know, me bad! LOL

OK, maybe I should rethink my opposition to the burkha. That's the best photo of those two I've ever seen.

The hair thing is bag enough but what would it be like if we had to talk about her cellulite pool table legs. Count your blessings.

Nah you alright, you did limit it to liberal woman.

I told my son's nurse if she was voting democrat in the primaries, that it was ok not to show up this year. Republicans did really well this year-so far considering the previous dem stronghold. That could be the reason every photo looks like a candidate for a pepto bismal commercial.

She looked awful at the New York/Congressional event. I just don't understand why the press thinks we care a thing about her...how could they?

That woman is so pretentious, she would have to have the largest flag you could find to wear. Richard Watts said it best, "the pretentious fraud who assumes a love of culture that is alien to her".

Welcome to Freerepublic. If you are proud to be American you're in the right place.

You could be right about the snake thing too, unfortunately we might never know, no one seems to be able to get close and actually look.

just a glance

The press of course, they are doing their part in the 2004 presidential campaign to keep her name and face in front of the sheep.

"What I want to know is what happened to those big old jowls she was sportin???
Only her and Chelsea's plastic surgeon will know for sure. "

Oh my gosh, you're right. She had her jowls pulled up. It makes her mouth look smaller, and her face as fat as her butt. What an oinker.

Then she got her hair cut so that people would think THAT was what made her look different.

Schumer doesn't appear to be entranced by the lovely locks.

If you ask me, she should have kept the hairband, from the "60 Minutes" interview days. That was about the best she ever looked. But that was too "trailer park."

Yeah, he doesn't care so much that he spends all this time on it....

That was her "stand by my man" look. She doesn't need old Bill these days. The guy's an albatross where ever he goes.

She ought to just pick a hairstyle and stick with it, like most women do. Do you realize these stories have been going on for ten years? Isn't it a little "over?"

I mean, she's not exactly 16 anymore.

Lots of women have bad hair and learn to deal with it. It's not like she hasn't had enough practice to know what looks best on TV.
