I had a Taurus PT-140.. It was.. ok. Best thing about it was the capacity and ease of cleaning.
If you want to stick with 9mm, I'd say try and go with a Glock 26. Perhaps a Glock 36 .45 would be ok? It's gonna kick heavily however...
Sounds like you like the Glocks, and like 9mm/.45's. In that case, the G26 or G36 seem like very good choices.
The good thing about a revolver though.. You don't have to practice so much with 'carry loads'(ie expensive ones)..
A semi-auto, you want at least 150-200 of the rounds you'll carry with you, without a failure. Good luck on your choice!

"A semi-auto, you want at least 150-200 of the rounds you'll carry with you, without a failure."I get that from my Beretta, so I'm really spoiled.
The only failure I've had with the Beretta occurred last Sunday at the range. I was breaking in a new magazine. I hate that feeling. Reliability is definitely a plus. Thank-you, Monty. I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight! ;-) Have a great evening...time for me to call it a night.
