"Clark, who served in the Johnson administration at the height of the Vietnam war, said it would be "the gravest mistake" of any president in his lifetime if President George W. Bush launches a war against Iraq."Yeah, it's almost as bad as his former bosses acceleration of the Viet Nam war. Does Clark realize the absurdity of his statement?

Ex-US attorney general calls Iraq threat a 'fraud' Why did I instinctively know that the headline referred to Ramsey Clark?
And why did I know it would be Reuters who would exhume him?

Somehow I knew it was Ramsey Clark even before clicking on the thread. After all, Reno is running for office. Is Clark still alive?

The claim that Iraq is a threat is a complete fraud. I don't think they believe it for a minute," Clark said, referring to the Bush administration's stated grounds for seeking to topple Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. No matter Clark's history, I agree with him on this statement.

It's Ramsey Clark. It's slightly less important than telling me my shoe was kidnapped by aliens.

Clark, who served in the Johnson administration at the height of the Vietnam war, said it would be "the gravest mistake" of any president in his lifetime if President George W. Bush launches a war against Iraq. LOL! Can you believe any one would ask this @$$hole's opinion? He was in the administration responsible for the worse fiasco ever perpetrated upon America.

I am astounded that someone with Clark's track record would have ANYTHING to say publicly, simply astounded.

Remember, Ramsey Clark was made attorney general, not on his merits (which are extremely weak), but as part of one of the more stunning political deals ever.
Lyndon Johnson got Ramsey's father Tom Clark to step down from the US Supreme Court solely in return for an EXPLICIT promise to make Tom's intellectually challenged son Ramsey the Attorney General of the US.
Johnson wanted to appoint an African-American to the Court and picked Thurgood Marshall.

Attorney General Ramsey Clark I identified that name just from reading the title. Do I get a prize?
To: kattracks
Why is it not a problem for Clark that Iraq
make WMD and tried to kill a US President,
and backed terrorism from 911 to West Nile?
Whose side is Clark on anyway?

Saddam and Osama could release a video showing them locked arm-in-arm dancing a jig in glee as the WTC collapsed and this crowd would deny Iraq is a threat.
