POMPANO BEACH -- A 22-year-old man has admitted to intentionally locking up and leaving two dogs and two cats in his apartment to die. One of the dogs did die, but the other animals survived and were rescued.
Charles Serviano was arrested Wednesday morning on multiple charges of cruelty to animals after he turned himself in to the Broward Sheriffs Office.

Yeah...I watch it.
It's amazing how cruel people can be...I am so glad animal neglect/cruelty is becoming felonies in so many states.

Serviano, who now lives on Southwest 48th Street near Hollywood, told investigators he left the apartment about three weeks ago and moved in with relatives. He said he had not been back to check on the animals since Aug. 24. Serviano said he had decided to wait for the animals to die then remove the bodies from the apartment, Coleman-Wright said. His punishment writes itself.
