We had an opportunity to finish with Saddam once and for all in 1990-91; the reasons as to why we didn't still seem to apply today. Those so enthusiastically drumming for war have their ulterior motives and I don't want to see American men coming home in body bags for the sake of these motives. We would be far wiser to remember the words of George Washington and avoid foreign entanglements - we're currently so tightly wrapped around the axle of the mid-east that a tragedy such as 9/11 was inevitable.
