Man, don't you understand??? These ballots were rejected for definite reasons - most of which were due to voter error!

By complete coincidence I was reviewing Virginia's voting totals from the 2000 Presidential election just about fifteen minutes ago. We averaged about a 2% vote rejection per precinct, with one precinct as high as 10%. Maybe Gore should challenge the vote here as well! LOL

Algore Junior was credited with the popular vote nationally but the difference between the top two candidates, George W. Bush and Albertgore Junior was only 0.51%.

If they threw out 2-10% of the votes in your area, we will never know which candidate "really" got the popular vote. Since the popular vote does not determine the President, the exact figure/answer was not sought. Only states with electoral votes in contention were contested.
