efreedomnews WAR ON TERRORISM - AN AMERICAN PERSPECTIVE | ||

As this Labor Day dawns, in the expectation of 911's first anniversary, the US is holding a massive national debate about invading Iraq. Interestingly enough, the Republicans are debating among themselves, and the people are debating among themselves. The Democrats are not involved. They publicly support the president, with some reservations regarding Congressional review (which the White House has promoted all along). Privately, they are torn between the realities of Saddam's danger and their great angst at being unable to vociferously condemn the administrations policy - since the latest ABC polls show 65% of the American people support invasion - and internet polls are running at over 90% approval. National Debate Begins Case for Invasion No matter. Fed up with the repetitive pompous blathering of Rather, Jennings, Brokaw and the rest of the major media talking heads, Americans are taking to the internet in droves to find out the facts, the analysis, and participate in the debate themselves. Debate is raging on the internet regarding the US policy of preemptive intervention in Iraq. Americans have found an outlet, and an information source, on chatboards across America. This is from Ann Coulter's website anncoulter.org. Q. Do you think the US has more support for an invasion of Iraq "off the record?" The short answer to your question is yes.
Ann Coulter adds:
Those asking for caution are not idiots. They know negotiation with Saddam is worthless -- they just don't want their situations upset. They do not operate from principal. They are amoral pragmatists in this matter. Jonathan |

Then please stay out of our way when WE decide to invade Iraq. No crying an moaing, if you are leaving it up to us then leave it up to us no questions asked.
The pool is still open and predictions are still being accepted!
