I'm getting really tired of the politics of divisiveness being practiced by a certain sector of the black population. Shut up already. Complain about something real, instead of perceived hatred.

"We say that it's a flag of hatred," said Sabu Williams, an NAACP chapter leader. "Put it in a place of historical value, not in front of a place of justice."
That's funny... I have seen blacks wearing the confederate flag around here... I guess that they must have missed the last NAACP meeting... or could it be that the NAACP does NOT stand for all blacks... just the racist and ignorant ones...

Why is this racist organization permitted to exist? At the very least it should have its tax status changed!

Nelson Winbush makes a powerful argument with his Confederate ancestral history. I've heard his presentation many times and am always impressed. This retired teacher is a worthy speaker at any event where folks want the truth about black heritage in the South.

"He said any Confederate flag flown on public property is offensive to blacks."

And blacks whining about our flag is offensive to southerners. Your point?

"Winbush proudly displayed a slightly worn battle flag he said had lain across the coffin of his grandfather, Lewis Napoleon Winbush, who died in 1934. It represents history, not the degradation of his race, Winbush said."

Nice to see some of these folks stepping up to expose those NAACP fools for the morons and bullies that they are.

Who are the real haters? Here in South Carolina, there has to be an armed guard posted at the Confederate Soldiers Monument 24/7 to keep it from being vandalized, While just across the state house grounds, the African American Memorial goes unmolested.

Why don't they (NAACLP) clean up their own backyards with all the hatred the low life ones show toward each other in the ghetto's?
Their petty jealousies toward one another will always keep them down.
It's NOT whitey's fault!

Danny Glover has the gall to say that urban renewal is 'black removal'. Is he going to tell me that it's acceptable for the punk gang drug dealers to live next door to him or other decent blacks?
Now THOSE scumbags should ALL be removed!! Maybe then they will make some progress.
But with Jazzy Jackson and Al Dullton banging the race drum, I won't hold my breath.

Crack and 9 millimeter pistols. You couldn't pay me enough to be a cop these days.

When I was visiting my grandparents in Pensacola, I noticed that along the "Welcome to Pensacola" sign were several flags that once flew over the state of Florida. One of those flags happened to be the first national flag of the C.S.A.

Pensacola is known as the "City of Five Flags," and some locales still use the more familiar Confederate battle flag or naval jack in their logo.
