Hi ... while this is paid for by Newsweek, it is just a press release published by a different company specifically so that it can be disseminated as far as possible. Besides, the information in the release will NOT be in this week's Newsweek. Thus I don't believe it falls under the LAT/WP rules. But I thought I should alert you just to be on the safe side.

I guarandamntee you if it were 45-40 the other way on the generic Congress poll that Fineman, et al, would not use the words "evenly split."
