To: SEGUET
"during the last Crusades."

The Crusades were basically a holding maneuver to stop Islamic expansion. So if you look at the Crusades as a black mark against Christianity you need to look a lot deeper and ask some questions:

1. Since the Christians had access for over a millennium to the Holy Land and the Muslim expansion denied access to Christians is that really a war of aggression? I call it defense.
2. If Islam is so peaceful why have they killed so may in wars?

As Christianity of that period was limited solely to the Catholic Church, though the Eastern Orthodox had started to rear its head -

The other Christian organizations were never even considered as the brunt of blame for agressive acts of the Vatican.
