That's the first six hours. I can't see beyond that. But I know if Saddam goes, the war will be over in less than six days.
14SEP02 1900hrs EST
Exactamente. Except maybe 10:30 pm Central - imagine how pumped our guys will be to deliver it at the same time (their time) we got ours.
Does anyone know the time difference to EST?
20:00hrs Eastern Standard Time
About 04:00hrs Baghdad Time, just before prayer time.

Also GW will be making a speech on the 11th and wants to have to tell the world that this is what happen if you want to mess with the USA or its allies
No matter who or where you are, whether the entire world supports our actions or not, we will destroy anyone that decides they want to threaten our way of life.
One of the speeches of Churchill reminds me of todays diplomatic climate in Europe.
"When I warned them that Britain would fight on alone, whatever they did, their Generals told their Prime Minister and his divided cabinet that in three weeks, England would have her neck wrung like a chicken - Some chicken! Some neck!" -- Speech made to the Canadian Parliament on December 30, 1941.
(He was speaking about the French at the time)
My reasoning? (1) Black of night in Baghdad, just a couple of days after the new moon cycle. (2) GWB and his "Adult Leadership Team" will have had the morning to consult (whup-ass) with the Congress critters, and will have all evening to explain it to the nation. By bedtime, even the slow ones will understand!
How sweet it would be if Saddam was thrown into the cell with Noreiga
Nope. We'll just say "Just hurry up and go get the SOB!"
If you can't handle a little side pick on this, then go find a thread where you can be "more comfortable."
December 4, 2002 -- 3:28 AM local (Middle East) time.
However, the whole build-up is actually a deceptive maneuver -- the U.S. force that is being deployed to the Middle East will not be attacking Iraq, but a nation that has been directly linked to al-Qaeda (I'm guessing Yemen).
In typical American style, we will sit on our butts until something really bad happens to us and then the media, Democrats, and spineless Conservatives will question why Bush 2 lost his nerve and retracted on forceful regime change in Iraq.
CONSIDER THIS: We only need to look at these same old naysayers concerning the Gulf War in '90-'91. The media, Democrats, and spineless Conservatives were against that war, they didn't want us to finish the job, and now, 10 years later, they complain that Bush 1 was a failure because he didn't finish Saddam off when he had the chance in '91. I predict 5-10 years from now something really bad will happen. And in true American style, Bush 1 and Bush 2 will be attacked in the court of public opinion for backing down. Of course, those making such attacks will omit they viciousness they, themselves, attacked Bush 1 and Bush 2 for even considering going into Iraq.
LOL, this cr@p is the American way since the Vietnam War...thank you all of you ex-hippie, baby-boomers for forever killing the American spirit...now the rest of us have to pay for your a@@es as you get old...
Sheesh, Kaslin, somebody pee in your Cheerios this morning?
Let 'em taste the bitter smoke in the morning.
Let the rest of the region know how vulnerable they are in the daylight.
Send a message to the world... one they seam to have forgotten.
Don't Tread on Me!
Wild guess.
