Does that make my family a bunch of lefty tree huggers like the Earth Summiteers? Gee, no flushing toilets doesn't make for very sanitary conditions, nor does relieving yourself anywhere...I don't know irish guard..

I have a suggestion. Let's all go flush our toilets 10 times in honor of this article :-) And then I'll make my second 60 mile round trip alone in my 8 passenger gas guzzling SUV. Sounds like a plan....But I'll bet your gas guzzling SUV isn't as bad as Al Gore's Escalade...

Man, this story is just a little too
chic sale.
The whole meeting has deteriorated into ridiculousness. LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL!!!

I hope all the tree huggers forget to write their weight on the wall before they flush.
It would be a real shame if we knew how much to dip out.

"It was an error."Even so, I thought it was hilarious, even though you didn't mean it to be

Maybe we need to switch to that famous potty as seen on the Simpsons?
Toilet to Homer: " I will be very honored to receive your waste. (plays happy tune with water fountain efects from bowl)

A female panelist from India complained that the flush toilet encourages excessive water consumption around the world and is not ecologically friendly.Give her a big roll of tickets and a manure shovel--then put her in charge of a 3-seater in downtown Calcutta.

Actually, I live in an apartment and my landlord was required to replace my showerhead with one that sprays less water. It's a piece of crap. I probably take longer showers now because I need more time to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. Oh, that's easy to fix. Just unscrew the showerhead and look on the inside; you'll see a perforated disc in the there not quite an inch across. Using a straightened paperclip, or a fork, or whatever, you can lift that sucker right out of there. Throw it away.
Next, screw the shower head back on and enjoy a decent shower again.

The flush toilet helped rid us of losing a quarter of the population every few years. And that helped contribute to the over-population "crisis". So if we get rid of flush toilets, we will have more effective natural population control. At least that seems to be the eco-wacko position.
I'm not clear on how to reconcile that with the AIDS "crisis". algore says overpopulation contributes to global warming, so now what to do?
