I have been disappointed many times. I was disappointed in George Bush Senior, but I voted for him in 1992. I have been disappointed by my elected representatives, but for the most part they are conservative and I support them. I don't agree 100% with anyone, and I don't expect them to always agree with me. But if they are right of center, and solid on the right to life and the right to keep and bear arms, I will give them a couple chances.
Don't believe everything you read, and don't think that ANYONE is ever going to agree with you all the time. I knew a conservative once who re-registered as a Democrat to run against a conservative Republican because he was furious that the conservative Republican would advocate a constitutional convention for the purposes of a balanced budget amendment. They agreed on everything else -- abortion, guns, taxes, etc -- but this was the "one issue" that was more important than any other. If there was another issue, he would have bailed on that one as well.
I do not like RINOs and have done everything I can to defeat them. I do not vote for pro-aborts because as a Catholic I can not in good conscience vote for anyone who promotes the killing of unborn children or old people. But I will fight for those who are almost 100% conservative because this is but one battle in a war. And the Democrats are winning.
HAH!! Not by a long shot, my FRiend!! The RATS are being exposed for the anti-Americans they are, and this November promises to be a major blow-out for the GOP if we can focus our energies on attracting voters with our Conservative policies!! The Good Guys' triumph is inevitable if we keep at it...Cynicism and Doubt are our Biggest Foes!!
Buck up, bucko...MUD
